Sometimes games can fail to run at the desired performance levels, which can lead to the game hitching, lagging, or temporarily freezing causing problems for players. In some cases, this is caused by using older phones or tablets that may struggle to keep up with the computational demands of the game. Our developers work across updates to our games as well to improve optimization and performance in our games. If you're having trouble, you can try the troubleshooting steps below.
- PGA Tour Golf Shootout and NHRA Legends of Drag Racing both have Graphics Quality or Quality settings. You can try turning these down (Fastest for PGA Tour, Low for NHRA).
- In PGA Tour Golf Shootout you can find this by tapping the blue icon in the upper right corner of the title screen, then tapping the larger green settings button.
- In NHRA Legends of Drag Racing, you can find this by tapping the gear button in the upper left corner of the title screen, then tap Settings. You can also try turning off Vibration here as well.
- If your device has any Low Power Mode or Battery Saver modes, try turning these off. Usually, these options would be in the Battery Settings section of your device's main settings app.
- Fully close any other apps you have open that you don't need while playing the game. On Android, you can use the Recent Apps button on your device (usually the bottom left of your three main device buttons on the screen) to see the apps you have open and swipe up on an app to close it. On Apple, you can swipe up from the bottom and hold briefly to see the apps you have open, and swipe up on an app to close it.
- Check the App Store for updates to the game. We periodically release updates for our apps which may help with issues.
- Try restarting the game and your device.
